Benjamin's Fig

Benjamin's Fig

Ficus benjamina

Description

Benjamin's fig or weeping fig is an evergreen shrub or tree with glossy, slender-pointed ovate leaves. Flowers insignificant, followed by reddish-orange fruits, becoming black - but this plant rarely flowers indoors. Once it is happy in a location, do not move because it will show its displeasure by suddenly dropping much of its leaves.
