Description

Bright scarlet berries, good prostrate ground cover. Evergreen: broadly oval mid- to dark-green, 1 1/4 in. long leaves. These plants are low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil. Native to mountain areas, cliffs, and rocky ground. It is a vigorous, prostrate shrub with long, spreading shoots. White flowers are solitary or in clusters of 2-4.
