Description

Deciduous shrub or small tree with paired, slender, glossy bright green leaves, reddish when young, and funnel-shaped, 5-petaled (or double), bright orange-red flowers in summer, followed by spherical, edible fruits. NOTE: Please do not consume plant parts without being certain of their identification and that chemical pesticides or fungicides were not sprayed on or near the plant. There are dwarf and standard varieties available.
