(Almost) Unkillable Houseplants

These are the most low maintenance plants.
Get the look with out all the work.

∙  Sanseveria Snake Plant ∙

☀️ These snakes love the heat! Place them in a bright area with indirect light.
💦 For this plant, a 1/4 cup of water every few weeks at most would is ideal. Double check that the soil is completely dry before watering. Always water the edge of the plant, never over the leaves!
🌱 Our recommendation for this plant is to use a succulent and cactus mix with potting soil. Using a fast and well-draining soil will help prevent root rot.
💨 Not only is this plant known as the snake plant, they’re also known as one of the best plants as an air purifier! This plant filters out formaldehyde and nitrogen oxide. Put one in your bedroom, and this plant will clean the oxygen around you as you sleep.
🌸 These plants grow flowers, but it is very rare! Their flowers are whitish to a greenish color and have a really sweet scent! Test your luck and see if you can grow them.

∙  ZZ Plant ∙

☀️ ZZ plants do best in bright to moderate, indirect light but will do fine in extremely low levels of light.

💧 Zz plant needs little watering.
🍼They don't need fertilizer but if you want to encourage the plant to grow you can feed it twice a year with half strength fertilizer (only during the summer months)

∙  Aloe Vera ∙

☀️ Full sun or at least the very brightest light if indoors
💧 Well-draining soil and thorough watering when the soil has become fairly dry, about an inch down
🌡 Protect from frost. Indoors during cold months, but it will benefit greatly from outdoor exposure during warm months

∙  Spider Plant ∙

☀️ Give your spiders bright to moderate indirect sunlight in a room with average room temperature and some humidity. ⠀
💧During their initial growth, water them occasionally. Once your spider is fully developed, water them moderately. Don’t let them get too soggy, or it’ll lead to root rotting.
🍼 In the spring and summer, make sure to always keep their soil moist so they can grow! Fertilize up to twice a month, but don’t over fertilize. ⠀
🌱 Keep your spider healthy, and they may even produce baby spiders! The adult plant will produce “pups” you can remove and replant for more fun

∙  Ruber Tree ∙

☀️ Rubber trees enjoy bright light indirect light...try putting it near a window with sheer curtains. This allows plenty of light, but not too much.⠀
💧 When a rubber tree is over-watered its leaves will turn brown and fall off so it's good to just keep the soil moist, but don't soak it.

*Tip: Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth*⠀
🌿 They grow fairly quickly under good conditions so be sure to re-pot every year until the plant reaches its desired size.⠀
