Description

Flowering cherry trees are must-haves for Asian-style gardens or as focal shade trees.Most are small trees, ranging from 15-25 ft. tall and many have decorative bark, especially noticeable when dormant. Their flowers are a buffet for bees and hummingbirds. ’Kwanzan’ bears spectacular double-rose-pink flowers, while ‘Snow Fountains’ display weeping, double-white blossoms. For mild winter regions, select the 20 ft. tall ‘Pink Cloud’ with profuse deep pink flowers.
