An indoor plant that flowers wonderfully in the winter. The flowers are very elegantly shaped, the deep red, pink or white flower petals are borne from the tips of light evergreen leaves. Because of the hanging habit of the flowers the Schlumbergera looks beautiful in a hanging basket or in a tall pot. Does not tolerate frost. Feed during growth and bloom cycles with a slow release or organic fertilizer formulated for blooming succulents.
