Description

Alstroemeria is a tuberous, clumping, evergreen perennial with slender, mid- to gray-green leaves, loose, terminal heads of funnel-shaped,yellow, orange or reddish flowers in summer. Hybrids come in a rainbow of other colors and contrasting markings such as A. 'Little Miss Zoe', a petite 8-12 in. x as wide variety, with cream and green variegated foliage and reddish-pink flowers in fall or summer. Attracts birds, bees and butterflies. Ideal in borders or containers.Fertilize during growth cycle, stop when in bloom and resume when foliar growth begins again.
